Cameron is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.
Cameron began his legal career in Brisbane where he completed his article clerkship and gained experience as a criminal solicitor. Cameron handled many high-profile criminal and traffic matters in Brisbane Courts before relocating to the Gold Coast in 2003.
Caldwell Solicitors was opened in March 2006 with the first office located at Hope Island.
In late 2008 Caldwell Solicitors expanded to a second office in Robina. The Robina office later relocated to larger premises in its current position in the HQ Building in October 2009.
